Sci-Fy - A Must Read! : Minority of One is well written and moves at a scorching pace, there's never a dull moment and James' visuals are absolutely stunning. His characters are both compelling and appropriately repulsive and explode off the page as though they were real people. His visuals extend the reading experience in how vividly they paint a backdrop to stimulate all on one's senses. ( Reviewed in the United States on October 31, 2021 )

It moves the story forward in an intriguing manner, develops the character of Jacob in a huge transition from where he was at the the beginning of Part 1, and issues scathing social commentary that is relevant to today in a way the best science fiction does. Plus, it's a page-turner and breezes through the story without ever sacrificing character. I really enjoy the world building, which is close to our current society in so many ways yet still feels futuristic (a very near future at that) in a believable way.
