Each chapter in the book tells small struggles that kinds go through such as friendship, am I good enough, am I loved, will anyone like me at school ect. And each chapter has a picture you can color after reading. The book has approximately 107 pages. The chapters are short only a few pages. My niece and I, read a charter a day at bedtime. The pictures are in black and white, but that doesn't really matter. Your child is reading a book that gives her courage, and self esteem. Wonderful read. Nice stories. I would recommend this book. - 4.0 out of 5 stars from AnonyMoose -- I like it, but too many Americanisms : This looked, and sounded, like a perfect little book for my 5.5 years old granddaughter to (try to) read by herself, or to have read to her - but I’m sorry to say that it irked me from the second paragraph of the first story when it referred to ‘mom’, and continued with ‘kindergarten’, ‘3rd grade’, ’homeroom teacher’, seat mate’, ‘second grader’, ‘cross walk’, ‘clerk’, ‘dollars’, etc. and continued with these Americanisms throughout the book’s seven stories. This little girl story really encourages to all girls in this world. My daughter like to read this as bed time story and she loved it. Thanks for author and great book for birthday presents.
